Jake Harrison is currently a Graduate Student at the University of North Caroline Chapel Hill in the Masters of Educational Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship (MEITE) program. He received his Bachelor’s of Science in Music from the University of Colorado Denver in 2015 and has spent his career so far as a music educator – most recently as the Music Director at the School of Rock Chapel Hill.
Jake has always enjoyed learning and helping others learn. He hopes that after completing his work in the MEITE program he’ll have the skillset to share his excitement and joy of learning with future generations on a wider platform than he could while teaching music one-on-one. Increasing the accessibility, scalability, and quality of education are all guiding goals of Jake’s work.
Jake currently lives in downtown Raleigh, NC with his wife Kelly and their portly cat Donut.
